One thing right off that's not really a dig at Microsoft/Vista but in hardware pc manufactureres themselves is the annoying new trend to not include a OS a chance to possibly catch any info on bugs in updates before they're installed (see Vista service pack 1 which has created a lot of problems for some users).

To respond to Troy, the Windows driver I tried is one the Windows Vista installed itself... so I'm assuming it's for Vista. And to respond to LoneWolf... I have however been successful in getting the beta driver to install, but it wont load properly (gives the error 43)... and I've never gotten the CCC to run.
